After we left the Chen Ancestral Temple, we headed to a large shopping mall that only sold jewelry. It was amazing the amount of shops and types of jewelry we saw.
| Before we headed inside, I saw this guy delivering water on his bike. |
| Inside the mall; floors and floors of jewelry. |
We only went to one store that specialized in pearls. Guangzhou is known for it's pearls so I looked forward to this shopping! It was quite overwhelming by the amount of pearls in the store. We bought Ava a pearl necklace for her wedding, and I split a strand of pearls with another mom in our group. We had that strand made into bracelets for our daughter's 16th birthdays.
| The girls all hand tie the pearl necklaces. They are super fast! |
| Ava's necklace being made. |

Didn't get a picture of my purchases, so took a picture of my friend's Mikki's. The pearls are so nice and heavy! |
As we were waiting for other families to finish up, Ava played with this balloon. She loved it! |
As we were leaving the shopping center, I saw this sign which is Ava's Chinese name! |
