Ava highlights

We have had Ava for one week, and it feels like she has been with us forever. I thought it would be fun to give some Ava highlights and glimpses into her personality.

She LOVES bathes, and has loved the pool at the Garden Hotel. Was not fond of pool in Changsha. I think seeing mommy in a swim cap did her in.





She surprised us with her amazing fine motor skills. She picked up a pencil and started scribbling. She even uses a correct pincher grip! She is 15 months old....not sure if the boys were doing that at 2 yrs old!





She loves her baby doll, and is so cute when she feeds it. She is an amazing mimicker, and picked up on my pretend taking a bottle noise. She makes it every time she gives baby a battle.








She is a great walker, and is busy, busy, busy! Not interested in TV at all.





She LOVES to eat. She continues to amaze us with the amount of food she can eat. Haven't found one thing she doesn't like. She is a messy eater....oh my! I think I'm going to be doing a lot of her laundry!

















She had her first KFC chicken at the Changsha railway station. She ate a whole portion!


She loves silverware, and is pretty good at using it!





She has the cutest laugh, a toothy smile, and the sweetest cry.

She loves to play peekaboo, loves to be tickled and have zerberts on her tummy.

She is a crazy sleeper, spinning in all different directions at night time.

She is responding to her name and can give us kisses!!!!!
