Another first occured today when I cut someone else's hair for the first time. Trevor was desperately needing a hair cut, so I talked to him about it this morning. I told him that he was going to be getting a hair cut, and either I could do it or JoDonna (my hairdresser) could do it. He immediately said (in a very whiney voice followed by crying) "I don't want to cut my hair!"
So imagine my surprise when right before nap time, he tells me he wants his hair cut. I think this might have been a delay tactic. I had mentioned earlier that if I cut his hair, he could watch a movie. Even though it was getting late, I wasn't going to pass up this opportunity. He did amazingly well, and I think I did a pretty good job! There were no tears shed, and it only took me about 5 minutes! This experience was a vast improvement over our last hair cut, and hopefully will go towards making Trevor more amicable to getting his hair cut.
