Turning 5 is so special! You are finally a whole handful! Because Evan was having an afternoon party with friends, we got up extra early before school to open his family presents.
This was the year of legos! Evan and Trevor have become quite enamored with legos which we think is fantastic. It is creative, logical, spatial and mathematical fun that helps them learn to problem solve while playing!
Evan had also been asking for the new Skylander's SwapForce game. We scored an awesome deal on this set with a coupon from Toys-R-Us while it was on sale too!
Here Evan was super duper excited to see a set we found on Ebay. He had been begging for the Spider Droid!
For some time, we had been looking for these kid trikes called Trick Trikes. The back wheels can spin you around for lots of crazy fun. We scored these awesome trikes on clearance at Walmart!
The boys couldn't wait for the weekend to try them out!
Happy 5th Birthday Evan! You keep us on our toes with your curiosity and exuberance for life. You have the most amazing tender heart for others, and are such a blessing to us. We love you!!!
