Boys End of School Year

Both boys had great years in school - Evan in Pre-K and Trevor in 1st grade.  The following pictures are in chronological order so they jump back and forth between the boys.

A late Spring drawing by Evan depicting our family!
Trevor is quite the master builder!  In late April, he made his own At-At with no directions!

Evan was so excited to finally celebrate his birthday at school.  He had been talking about his birthday since January!

Evan in the special Birthday Chair at School
His pre-school took a walking field trip to Artsy Doodle in May to paint a special Mother's Day gift.

More Trevor Lego Creations:

Mommy was a bit teary on the last day of pre-school!  It went so fast!

Lil Scientist home after last day of school
Evan's school had a final program a few days after the last day of school.  They sang many songs for the families, and then the lead teacher called them up one by one describing the child's strengths and impact they made on the class.

Mrs. Blattner was so sweet and said the nicest things about Evan.  She said he was a real leader in the class, and expected that some day he might be President of the United States.  Mommy needed to hear this after our not so great kindergarten registration experience.

Holding his Pre-school graduation cookie:

Trevor had a fantastic First grade year with Miss Reynolds' as his teacher.  He absolutely loved her, and we hope his 2nd grade year is just as great.  Miss Reynolds' was always very complimentary of Trevor.  Some of his report cards said things like "Trevor is a wonderful student.  He is a great leader and sets a good example for others.  He continues to encourage his peers and is someone I believe they look up to."  His reading skills really took off, and I continue to be blown away by how well he writes and draws.

So proud of both the boys, and have loved seeing them grow and blossom.
