Legoland - Day 1 Rides

After leaving Raleigh, NC Monday evening, we drove to Savannah and spent the night.  Tuesday we left to head to Bob's Landing, Babson Park FL to stay for a few days and visit Legoland with Meemaw, Papa, Aunt Kirsten, Uncle Jeremy and the Cousins.

Out on the marina dock at Crooked Lake;
Can't go down here without thinking about Grandpa Bell.
We had some excited kiddos on Wednesday morning ready to hit Legoland which is about 30 minutes from Bob's Landing Park.

All the statues inside the park are made of legos!  It is pretty incredible.  The park was also very clean and well laid out.

Posing outside of one of the shops. The boys could not WAIT
to get their sets at the end of the day!
Dinosaur's near the entrance that spray water

Everyone wanted to ride the Chima ride first.  So we headed through the children's area, scooping out rides for Evan and Ava to come back to as we made our way to Chima World.  Besides the water ride, they also had a Speedor area.  The Chima ride was fun, and we all got absolutely soaked.

Crocs you can shoot at from your Chima boat.

After the ride, Trevor thought it was awesome to shoot at the people still on the ride!

In Chima world by the the bathrooms, this skunk was hysterical.  He would fart!  The boys all thought this was hilarious.

Speedor Training Center:

As you left Chima world, you could go to Medieval Times where the Dragon Rollercoaster was located.  This was Trevor's first rollercoaster ride, and he loved it!

Excited to ride their first coaster of the day &
Trevor's first coaster of his life!

While Trevor and Daddy were with the cousins, Evan and I rode the Merlin.  We went round and round in circles and up and over little bumps.  We only rode it once :0

After that, Evan and I headed back to the children's area to find Aunt Kirsten and Ava.  We rode the Duplo train together.

Trevor joined back up with us, and he and Evan rode the Tractor ride.  Ava was too short.

While Trevor was off again with the cousins riding Coastersaurus, Evan rode on the Jousting Horses.

We eventually all met back up and rode the Egyptian Laser Ride.  I loved this entrance to the Eyptian area.  Can you find Evan in the picture?

More cool lego statues....so life like!

One ride all the kiddos were looking forward to was Driving School.  They had a younger and older driving school.  Evan didn't quite make the cut for big School, but he still had fun in his area.  All the kids got "driver's licences" when they were done.

Outside of the big kid school, was this amazing Lego life sized Ford Escape.  It was incredible.

Ava slept while the boys were at Driving School.
Across the way from Driving School, was the Firetruck and Police challenge.  You had to pump up and down to make the large trucks go down the track, jump out, pump to make the water spray to put out a pretend fire, jump back in your trunk and pump it back to the finish.  It was hard work!

We need a cool off spot at this point, so we headed to an indoor building area where kids can build cars and race them.
looking a little worn out!
Outside this building, the kids were excited to meet Emmett and Wild Style from the Lego movie!

Then they found Batman and Robin statues to pose with!

We finished out the day with a few more rides including these airboats with the hopes of getting wet again, and Ava got to ride the two story Carousel!

Love this picture of Ava!
She was having fun hangin' with Aunt Kirsten
while the rest of us were in line for a ride.

We were exhausted by the end of the day, and planned to take Thursday off to rest and relax before we head back on Friday for our second day at Legoland.
