We easily found our way from the NC Natural History Museum to Pullen Park. When we arrived, we saw this cute train running around the outskirts of the park and the boys were excited to ride it. All the children's rides at this park are $1. So we bought our tickets and were excited to try some rides.
We rode the train 1st; it took us out of the station, through a tunnel, past the park entrance, around a pretty pond, over some bridges and around the children's play area.
Next to the train station was this fun boat ride. The kiddos all rode together the first time. Evan was sad he didn't get to sit in the front, so the sweet girl let him have a ride by himself in the lead boat. His day was made!
After the boats, we wander over to the large kids playground. They had all kinds of climbing structures, but my kids were most interested in the sand and water play area. Ava ended up getting soaked!
It was getting quite hot, so we next headed to the indoor, air conditioned carousel. This was Ava's first time riding a carousel, and she LOVED it! I went back and bought a few more tickets to ride the carousel and train one more time before we headed back to pick up Daddy.
Soaked but loving her first ride!
Last train ride around the park
Last carousel ride!
Cheese!
She is a pistol!
We had fun playing at Pullen Park!
