Ava April and May Sillies

April and May brought us more laughs with Ava's silly antics, and seeing her continue to grow both physically and emotionally.  

4/3/14 - climbing into dirty laundry basket

Really?  I shouldn't be sitting on top of dirty clothes!

Ava discovered and attached pretty quickly to a favorite new stuffed animal - puppy.  Puppy went lots of places with us and had to be in bed with her too.

She was thrilled to discover she had pockets in this outfit!  "Pockets" she kept saying over and over again.

We ventured out to Chick-fil-a in Cranberry to meet our friends Barb, Sonia and Josiah.  We were all really tired of cold, wet weather.  When would spring arrive?

 Ava has really taken to puzzles.  She loves puzzles and is very good at them!

Unfortunately, sleeping was still not going great, so Mommy and Daddy moved me into their room. Now I'm sleeping in a big girl bed.  I feel much more safe being with them, and Mommy and Daddy feel much better now that we are sleeping all night long.  One thing I have learned to say very well is "I love you sooooooo much!" which totally melts Mommy and Daddy's hearts.

Besides loving on my favorite puppy, I am now very attached to this blanket that stays in the car.  I yell "bla-kit" over and over until Mommy gives it to me!

Like all toddlers, I also love empty laundry baskets!

Eeek!!! I've just been introduced to play-do.  We had so much fun playing with it, and making silly mustaches!

 I also just discovered the popsicle!  I love popsicles (still does) and ask for them every day (still does).

 "I DO IT!"  is heard very often around here.  Little Miss Independent likes to do most everything her self.  Here she is putting Peanut Butter on her toast.

Miss Full-of-Character has also discovered how to make different facial expressions.  Here is her "hmmmm...I'm thinking" type look. She cocks her head, scrunches her lips to the side and closes one eye partially. She made this one day when I asked her what her favorite foods were!

She was super excited to try on this new swimsuit in anticipation of the first day of swimming on Memorial Day.  I loved it that she also had my sandals on.

The past months have flown by!  Mommy has been exhausted hence the long stretch of no blog posts. But we are also loving having this funny, sassy, demanding, silly, smart, little blessing in our life.
