Out of all the animals we visited, Trevor liked the suffolk sheep the best! It must run in his blood! This visit to the fair made me rather nostaglic, and I hope that one day Trevor and Evan can participate in 4-H. It is such a great program. Seeing the sheep made me miss them...I even saw one in a spandex body suit! I had forgotten that we used those to keep the sheep clean.
Trevor got to pet this hen. This is Alex Miller's chicken, and I coached Alex in Youth Philharmonic sectionals. He was very kind to get his hen out so that Trevor could see it up close and personal. We also watched him feed and water it.
We also enjoyed visiting the goats. We saw baby goats, pygamy and milking goats. Trevor really liked petting them.
This rabbit was too funny and too cute; I had to take a picture and include it in the blog. There was a fan blowing directly on his face causing his long fur to blow in the breeze.
Trevor also really liked the pigs. I could not get over how huge this sow was! She had a lot of piglets that aren't captured in this photo.
Last, but not least, had to include a picture of Evan. He toured the fair in style in his new jogging stroller and cool bucket hat!

Ohhhhhh how much fun!!! Makes me long for the good ole days of 4-H also. Trevor looks so cute in that hat-- great idea to spend the morning looking at all the different animals. -K.
ReplyDeletep.s. I think Evan has grown at least a foot since our visit!
