New Swing Set

Since moving in, I had been looking for a used swingset for the boys. We have a nice flat area toward the back of the property that would work perfectly for a set. Finally, I found one for only $250. The set is in good structural condition, just needs a good power washing and stain.

When we arrived to look at it, the lady also had a small "jeep." Of course the boys went right to it, and she said she would throw it in for free! Trevor couldn't believe it! I can't believe we have a powered ride on toy...I always vowed to never have one! At least it was free!

Jeremy's former boss, Paul Cole and his wife, Linda were over to our house for dinner a few weeks ago. We mentioned that we had looked at a couple of sets, and Paul said he had a trailer we could use when we found one. He then offered to help Jeremy in the taking down and setting up. We were so thankful for his help! Jeremy and Paul got the swing set down in about an hour, hauled it to our house in two trailers, and had it put back up in about 1 1/2 hours!

Both the boys were taking naps while this was all occuring. You should have seen their looks when they woke up and found a swing set in their backyard! They have really loved having it, and have already spent many hours out there. This was my exact hope to get them outside for more play and enjoy the awesome weather. We're crossing our fingers that the newness of it doesn't wear off!
