Today Trevor experienced the first big snow fall of his life! We got 6 inches of snow last night, and it was perfect sledding snow - very light and not too wet. The past couple of winters have been very mild, and we haven't had enough snow for Trevor to actually play in. So I bundled him up in his cousin's former snowpants, boots and coat, and he had a ball! Some of his quotes while getting dressed were: "I like snow. I'm like Santa Claus! Snow is fun! Look, I put on my hand gloves!"

I'm ready!
Daddy went outside ahead of us to shovel our sidewalks and drive way. He was also a very good neighbor and shoveled out the driveway of an elderly neighbor. Trevor went down to "supervise" Daddy and throw the periodic snowball.

1st time walking in the snow!

I like snow!

Trevor turned and said "The snow is crunchy!"

So we have never gotten a sled because we've never needed one. Mommy took one for the team, and allowed Daddy and Trevor to use her decorated sled that sits on the porch. I un-decorated it (it needed new lights anyways), and off they went. It was so much fun to watch Trevor's reactions.

WHOO-HOOO! Faster Daddy!
After a while, Daddy and Trevor headed over to Sharon Elementary school and sledded down some hills there. They had a blast! I'm bummed that I didn't get to witness it, but am glad that they had that great time together creating memories as father and son.
Great pics, Erin! (--Barbara)
