Trevor and Evan update

Life has been busy since January 2010 rolled around, and because of all the busy-ness, I haven't had as much time to blog and post pictures. One of the new things that we have added to our schedule is attending BSF - Bible Study Fellowship - on Wednesdays mornings. This is an inter-denominational study, and it is world wide. I've really been enjoying the study, and the boys benefit by being part of the children's program. Trevor calls it "going to bible school."

Trevor continues to astound us with his vocabulary, and ability to hold conversations on the phone and in person. He is very verbal. We have really been working on obedience, and it has been a bit of struggle lately. But this week seems to have gone better - thank you Lord!!! Today he did a great job of coloring in the lines on a coloring sheet. He did this on his own, and with out direction. He has a very active and vivid imagination, and it is fun to listen to him while he plays.

This is fun!

Trevor's Rock Star pose!

Evan had his 9 month well baby check up on Friday, and on Wednesday he cut his first tooth!!! He has been a different kid since that tooth came through - ugh! Teething is my least favorite part of child-rearing. So we keep pacifing him with Tylenol and Advil which seems to help. He now weighs 24 lbs 5 oz and is 30 1/4 inches long. His weight is in the 92 %, length 95% and head 95%. Anita, Dr. Blanke's nurse, couldn't get over how big Evan is. He is wearing 18-24 month clothes!

Evan is loving solids, and has suddenly dropped the number of bottles he takes. Not sure if that is related to teething or if he is cutting back on formula. Either way, it is nice to have longer stretches between bottle feedings.

I like playing in my exersaucer!

This homemade baby food is yummy!
