Can't believe summer is almost over, and I've hardly posted about the boys. They have enjoyed going to the pool, and are both little fish. They both jumped off the diving board, and Trevor learned to dive and do flips! When not at the pool, the boys have been awesome playmates enjoying each other's company and playing legos most of the time. A few weeks ago, Trevor convinced me to make some slime. What boy doesn't love goop and slime? I love their expressions as they had fun playing with it and experimenting!

Trevor has come up with some pretty amazing creations using his own imagination or being inspired by something he saw. We went to the Ohio State Fair at the end of July, and we saw an amazing Lego City display. In that display was a McDonald's (or Old McDonald's as my boys have always called it). Trevor declared that he was going to make an Old McDonald's when he got home. He worked hard on it, and was so proud of his creation!

He was very detail oriented. He put a road around it, a speed bump (just like the one in Beaver has), a drive up window, and people inside. |

Soon the McDonald's was added to this Ninjago city. It morphed into the temple. I was amazed at how long this set stayed in tact!
Summer has gone much to fast, and next week Trevor will become a 1st grader. This week we went to visit his school, and find his class room. How is it possible that this child whose back once fit in the palm of my hand is about to be in school ALL. DAY. LONG? We will be praying earnestly for his school year, his learning and that he can be a light to those around him. Next week we also have Evan's pre-K orientation. Why can't they stay little longer? Trying to treasure all these moments....love these boys sooo much!!!!!!
