Trevor's last day of preschool was Friday, May 14th. I was sad that the year was over, and couldn't believe how quickly it flew by! Trevor's class was a great group of kids, and the teachers commented on several occassions about how well the kids all played and worked together. Evan and I stayed that morning since it was a short day, and the kiddos were done by 10:30 a.m.

Trevor's name was on the job board, and his final job was to feed the turtles! What a way to end the school year since this is one of the most favorite jobs!

After all the morning jobs were finished, Mrs. Wilson had a few things that needed finished. One thing she did for the all kids was to have the classmates give her a list full of things that they liked or will remember about each of their friends. This was the final page added into their "Look at Me" books.

Of course, one more play session was in order. Evan loved playing with the trains each time it was our turn to volunteer.

The day was quickly over, and time for one last class picture. Earlier in the week the kids had received a shirt with a class picture on it. Trevor commented on the way out of school "I have my shirt. I will be able to see my friends on it."

Trevor had a great experience here, and I am so glad that he was a part of this class. I'm sad that several of the kids won't be in his kindergarten class next year as they are going to other schools. But we will see them at other activities (like soccer) and hope to keep up with them through play dates this summer. Watch out world, Trevor's going to kindergarten!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...he's too little to be going to kindergarten! These pictures are absolutely precious and we're so grateful that you keep us up to date on watching Trevor & Evan grow up. It's just happening way too fast. They are beautiful and we're so thankful that you brought these 2 little miracles into our lives. We love you, Papa Dennis & Nana Debby
ReplyDeleteWhat a great pre-school year Trevor had! Can't believe he'll go to Kindergarten in the Fall . . . I agree with Debby - the boys are just growing up way too fast! Thanks for another wonderful post & great pictures! Love you - Mom (aka Mee-Maw)
