Saturday outings

On Saturday, we decided to drive to Lebanon, PA to get homemade soft pretzels from Shuey's. It was a bit of a drive (because there are NO straight roads in PA), but worth it. The pretzels were very good. Their main business is hard pretzels (which are also very good), and they only make soft pretzels on Saturdays. We got two large pretzels and a couple smaller ones. Check out the size of the large pretzel!

The pretzel is wider than Trevor!

From Lebanon, we headed over to Hershey to visit Chocolate World. They have a fun ride that takes you through the manufacturing process of chocolate. It was crazy busy at Chocolate World! We asked one of the workers as we were standing in line for the ride how many people had been there on Friday. He said 17,000! Luckily, the line moved quickly, and we were soon on the ride.

Finally a pretty blue sky, but it was still cold and windy!

The singing cows

end of the process...
Reese's cups, York Peppermint Patties,
Kit-Kats, Hershey's Kisses...
yum!

Chocolate, chocolate every where!
