Trevor's 6th Birthday

One month ago we celebrated Trevor's 6th birthday!  (Forgive me Trevs for taking a month to post, but we have had a lot going on!)  I can't believe he is 6 already, and when people ask me how old Trevor is, I'm finding myself pausing.....thinking......and then saying 6.  I can't believe he is 6 already! 

Trevor's birthday fell on a Saturday, and the night prior we had church fall festival.  So it was busy weekend!   We planned for Trevor to open his presents through out the day to help spread it out.  Of course, they were up early and ready to go!

Prior to his birthday, Trevor was very interested in legos.  We only had a few small sets, so I found these brickmaster sets that allow you to make more than one thing.  Also comes with a big book of detailed instructions. He loved them!

After playing for a few hours, Trevor was ready for some more presents!  One of the surprise present hits was a camera attachment for his Leapster.  He has loved taking pictures that he can then distort. In addition, it can act as a video camera.  Oh my goodness, he has taken some seriously hilarious videos of my himself singing and acting silly.

Last year we went to Texas Roadhouse for my birthday, and  Trevor commented that he wanted to go there on his birthday so he could sit in the saddle.  While initially embarrassed, he finally smiled as they neared the end of their birthday serenade!
