Happy 2nd Birthday Evan!

Today is extra special because it is Easter Sunday and Evan's 2nd Birthday! I thought it would be fun to post pictures from throughout the whole year so that we can see how much Evan has changed. It amazes me to think back to a year ago, and compare what Evan was doing then and what he is doing now. He seems to be much more verbal than Trevor was at 2, and is putting sentences together. Today he told us he wanted to "go that way" in the car!

Orange Beach - 1 year 2 weeks

pulling up in June

still crawling in early July, but working on walking

Evan learned to walk at Aunt Kirsten's in late July;

here we are at the Owensboro Natural History Museum;

Evan was a very unsteady walker for a long time!

late August throwing rocks at the river

posing for the camera on Sept 15th

late October breakfast wearing Daddy's Green Bay hat

Oct 30th - Trevor's 4th Birthday Party

Nov 8 - a fun outing to Audubon State Park

in Henderson, KY

Dec 5 - being silly on Trevor's bed;

His face is all red from face planting in the covers!

Early Dec - attempting to get a
Christmas card picture!

Dec 19th - showing off

his Wisconsin T shirt

so cute!

Jan 2011 - Happy New Year;

lots of static!

early January - boys snuggled up playing

on electronic devices - Trevor on his Leapster

and Evan with Daddy's cell phone!

January - Evan was strong enough to

push Trevor in the lego bus

Jan 29th visit to Evansville

Children's Museum

Feb - Mommy made Trevor and Evan

"Tommy" blankets. Since Christmas,

Evan had been obsessed with his one pair of

Thomas pajamas. I thought a blanket might

be a good substitute for when the pj's were dirty!

March 8 - a beautiful warm day; we took

Flat Stanley to show him around Newburgh.

(Trevor is holding Flat Stanley)

April 6 - another fun outing to the river

April 23 - Tiny and Buddy present from

Mommy and Daddy

Oh, how you have grown and changed! Can't wait to see what this next year has in store for you and for us! We love you!

  1. Erin, this is a great collage of both your handsome boys! We really had a wonderful time with them at Kirsten's and at your home this past week. God is blessing you with a beautiful family and an abundant life. Love you, Dad.
