Birthday Presents

We decided to have Trevor open his birthday presents Saturday afternoon after the train ride because Daddy would be out of town on Trevor's birthday. Of course, he could hardly wait to get home to see his surprises!

Remote control Percy train;
Trevor didn't need us to tell him it
was remote control!

Tranformers!
(You should have heard Daddy
as he tried to assemble them!)

Late this summer, Trevor has really taken to riding his tricycle. He is almost too big for it, so I kept my eyes open for a nice bike with training wheels. I can't get over how big he looks on this bike. Not sure if he is quite ready for it, as it is quite different than the trike. But hopefully by spring, he will have more confidence to ride it.

So big!

After dinner, I suggested we take the boys for a stroller ride at the river. They have expanded the greenway passage down to the Lock and Dam. I've been dying to explore it, and even though we had a full day, a nice walk was the perfect cap to the day.

This section of the trail is in
the woods and a bit hilly

So glad we have a nice greenway for
enjoying the scenery of the river and
a great place for individual or family exercise!

Awesome sunset

  1. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TREVOR!! How did you get to be FOUR years old already? You'll soon be old enough to drive a car!! I don't think Mommy & Daddy are ready for that just yet! We love you & can't wait to see you!
