1st Trip to Pumpkin Patch

On Sunday, October 17, we took the boys to Cates Pumpkin Farm south of Henderson, KY. This was our first trip to a pumpkin patch as a family. While it was a beautiful day, it was not a seasonably cool October day. It was hotter than blazes (90 degrees)! Never the less, we had a good time, and ran into our good friends, the Josenhans', while we were there. It was fun to share the hayride with them, and let the kids play together.

Pure joy and excitement about their pumpkins!

Hum...do you think I can carry that one too?

Evan wouldn't put the pumpkin down,
and was determined to carry it back to the barn!

Near the barn, they had many fun games and activities for kids and adults. Trevor and Evan really loved the duck race game.

After the hayride, we headed back to the play area to play just a little bit longer. Trevor really enjoyed playing on the airplane teeter-tooter. Mommy and Daddy got to fly along with him!

  1. Oh my gosh, they are both getting so big, especially Evan!! You're right, he is definitely NOT a baby anymore. Great pix once again. Thanks for the wonderful posts! Love, MeeMaw!
