Evan update

It has been a while since I have done updates on the each of the boys. For Evan, we are catching more glimpses of his personality. I hope he can start saying more words soon as he gets easily frustrated when he can't get something or needs us to do something. So he has resorted to screaming. He did the screaching thing for a while, but seemed to out grow it. But now it has returned, and we are trying to break him of this. He has started to point, can wave, and is saying bye, hi, hey there, and na-na (which I figured out means bottle).

In addition, he seems much more fearless than Trevor ever was. He crawls crazy fast, has learned to crawl up the stairs, and will even crawl in the yard and on pavement. He loves the water, and will try to immerse his face in it! He is a very busy guy, playing non-stop until he needs a nap. Minus the occasional screaming, he is very happy and doesn't cry much at all.

Mr. Cool!
He was trying to put on Trevor's sunglasses
so I helped him out. He loved it!

I never posted Evan's stats following his one year check up. We knew he was big based on the fact that he was in 24 month clothes at his appointment. But we were surprised to hear them tell us that he is off the growth charts - he is in the 99.5% for height and weight! He was almost 27 lbs and was 33 inches long. We call him our little-big guy, and you gotta love his rolls and dimples!

Check out those dimples and rolls!
(It was so muggy out, it made my lens fog over)

running through the sprinklers -
now that is workout running and carrying Evan!

He loved it!

Evan is very mobile, and it has been fun watching him learn to push toys around. I can't believe he can do that already!

Our happy baby!

Pushing a monster truck

This is fun!

He has started to pull up on the furniture, but hasn't taken any unassisted steps. He will probably be even more unstoppable when he can walk!

Here is a video of him taking his first steps holding my hands. It is only a matter of time!
