Sweet and Creative Trevor

Trevor melted my heart about two weeks ago. It was 4:30 a.m., and he woke up from a bad dream. He called out for me, and in my groggy state, I picked him up and rocked him for a while. After he settled down (he was shaking when I first went in), I put him back into bed and reassured him that he was safe. As I was leaving, he says "Thank you for saving me Mommy!" It was the most unexpected thank you and sweetest thing ever!

Trevor has enjoyed playing in the office this week. We've made some fun creations. On Thursday, I did an "in-home" photo shoot to see if I could get some good pictures. Wasn't able to get Evan to smile very well, but did get some good pictures of the boys together (see new blog title picture). Afterwards, we turned our sheet from the photo backdrop into a tent. Then we got out the tunnel to use as an entrance into the tent. In addition, Trevor has been playing with blocks in the office and making all kinds of cool creations.

  1. What a sweet boy you have there. I am loving that curly hair!! What kind of camera are you using? Is it fancy? I'm always interested in knowing what other moms use. We have a PowerShot and I like it, but I want to upgrade...so that's why the inquisition!

  2. Hi Angie! I was fortunate to get a Nikon d3000 after Christmas this year. I had been using our Fuji Finepix camera, but was always aggrevated with the shutter delay and indoor photo quality. I'm still in the process of learning how to use the new camera. The pictures I took the other day in our "photo shoot" turned out a little yellow because of the lighting in the room. But the overall quality, clarity, ability to crop is so much better on my new camera. I did a lot of research before settling on this model, and it is very user friendly. I really like it. Thanks for visiting. I really enjoy your blog!
