Boys at play

As I've mentioned previously, Trevor's imaginative play is fun to listen to and watch. He recently got a Doctor's play set after our last visit to see Dr. Blanke. At that appointment, Trevor got to hear his heart for the first time, and the look on his face was priceless. Since then, he has enjoyed playing doctor and giving me shots. Trevor calls himself "Dr. Susan" which I think is his play on words for Dr. Seuss. We've read a few Dr. Seuss books lately, I think that Seuss has morphed into Susan.

Trevor being goofy!

Last weekend after dinner, we took the boys to the mall where they have an indoor carousel. Trevor has never ridden on one, and I thought it would be a fun activity for him. He loved it! Jeremy bought two tickets thinking that he needed one to ride with Trevor. Turns out he didn't need one, so they both got to stay on for another ride!

Evan has become much more active in his play. Late last week, he and I played blocks for the first time. He giggled and giggled when the blocks would fall over. Today he and I rolled a small ball back and forth. I know he is growing and changing every day, but it hard to believe that he is already to the point where he can do these kinds of things!

  1. They have both grown since Christmas! I love talking to Trevor on the phone and it was a treat today to talk with Jeremy briefly too before he and Trevor headed out the door to go sledding. I'm gratified by the things I see you doing as parents and together as a family. As parents and grandparents we are blessed! Love you! -Dad/Papa
