We have had a care package ready to go for Ava for some time. I had some specific things I wanted to send to her. While looking into various shipping methods, I heard from the US ICC office that maybe someone could take it for us. Turns out a group of Canadians are going to Hengyang in early May, and they are willing to take our package! YIPPEE!!! So I sent the box off today, and can't wait for Ava to get our goodies.
Candies and lip gloss for the Nannies; stickers for the kiddos to share.
I made Ava this security blanket. It is so soft and cuddly!
Our photo album, a rattle and book. The catapillar ball didn't fit; it will go with us to China.
We also sent her two outfits. I bought them in March thinking we would get her package sent sooner. In China, they tend to dress children very warmly. So hoping that they can use the outfits or at least keep them for other children for next year. I also made her some hairbows.

I love that Trevor drew her some pictures including a heart that says "I love you" in Chinese! He is such a sweet brother! Two nights ago after we were done praying he said to me "I was dreaming about Ava the other night. I had a few tears because I want her to come home. We were playing together and then we were out at the picnic table under the swing set." Oh my goodness...that made me tear me up. I can't wait either for the day when we are all together, playing together and being a family.
What a nice surprise for her! I love the little security blanket. She will love it too. Blessings
