Splash Lagoon

Splash Lagoon was AWESOME and the boys LOVED it!  We liked that it was bit smaller, not so crowded, super clean, and had great slides and play areas for our kids.

The center of Splash Lagoon.
The large Tiki bucket would dump water
every so often.

Water dump!  Trevor loved to stand under it!
They had a great toddler and younger child water area called Monkey Island.  Evan spent most of his time in here.  It was deep enough for him to swim around, had 3 small slides and some other play equipment at the other end.  That area was more for babies, but he would venture down there every so often.  Trevor was still short enough to play in this area too.

Splash Lagoon had a very nice wave pool.  It was not as large as Kalahari's but I thought it was very nice.  Look at how well they painted it.  You can't hardly tell where the water stops and the wall starts!

Both boys loved the wave pool.  They were not intimidated by those waves!  Trevor loved riding the waves, and Evan preferred to just float over them.

Trevor loved all of the slides!  He was busy going down them with either Mommy or Daddy.  He had no fear, even loving the completely pitch black ones!

Coming out of the completely pitch black slide!

The open, red slide that went pretty fast!

Standing under a water stream...
it must not have hurt!
Splash Lagoon also had a lazy river, an activity pool with basketballs, and at least 5 other slides that I did not take pictures of.  The boys played hard and wore themselves out.  It was neat to see them play and make friends with other kids of different backgrounds.  The boys are already asking when we can go back!  It was a fun trip.

Hanging out in our room before bed.
Do you think they are having any fun?

This is how Evan looked on the last day!

  1. Wow! What an awesome place . . . would love to do a trip there with the entire fam sometime. And that last picture of Evan - oh my, that is one exhausted little boy. Love all the pictures!
