This year we had no plans for Thanksgiving so we decided to head to Erie, PA and spend a few days at Splash Lagoon indoor water park. We drove up the day before Thanksgiving, and it was a beautiful day! We knew we couldn't get into the water park until noon so we headed up a little early to visit Presque Isle State Park. I'm so glad we went there...it is awesome! I could have spent all day there, but we had some boys who were super excited for the water park.

Knowing we needed to get our Christmas card pictures taken, I thought that Presque Isle would be a perfect location for pictures. The setting was gorgeous, but the lighting was hard to work with! I was a tad bummed that the boys faces had some shadowing on them. Here are some that didn't make the Christmas card:
