We took Trevor to buy his first pumpkin on Saturday. He was SO EXCITED. Of course, we would have really loved to have taken him to a pumpkin patch, but there aren't any nearby. So we settled for Englebrecht's market up the street. It didn't matter to Trevor where we went...he was just thrilled with seeing all the pumpkins and getting to pick out his very own.
I finally managed to get some good cleaning done this past weekend. We still had dust and dirt from the floor remodeling process to get cleaned up. Trevor was a hoot when he wanted to suck up dirt and other stuff (like dead flies behind the one sofa table - ugh). He was very into getting it all cleaned up.
This is just a cute picture of him from this week. He is getting so big and grown up. He also needs another haircut, but I was rather traumatized by the last hair cut experience. I'm trying to put off the next haircut until it is HAS to be cut.
Evan is also growing so fast and changing. This week he has started intentionally grabbing at toys and moving them around. Unfortunately, he has another virus and we tried breathing treatments this week. They helped some what, but Dr. Blanke finally prescribed an antibiotic yesterday when Evan's nose turned yucky again.
I got Evan a walker, and the tray is great for putting toys in front of him. He is holding himself up so well. He seems to really like sitting in this as opposed to the exersaucer. Although I am excited about our trip, I suppose deep down I am somewhat procrastinating by doing this blog. Off to pack!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Evan's t-shirt. (Oh, and we should have a pumpkin carving party together!) --Barbara
