This is my first blog, and I have been inspired by the blogs of my sister and my dad. I recently was thinking about the fact that I have fallen behind in scrapbooking (like over a year!), and how I would like to periodically chronicle what is happening with Trevor and Evan. Both boys are growing so fast, it is hard to remember all the sweet and silly things they do. So I am going to give blogging a try to see if we can keep a better record of what is happening in our lives. In addition, this will help us share pictures and videos better with family and friends.
The picture of Evan was taken on June 2, 2009 in the morning. Evan was very content and happy laying on the couch and gave me several smiles! We had a doctor's appointment last Friday (May 29), and Evan weighted 12.6 lbs! He has gained 3 pounds since his one week weigh in! I couldn't believe that he has gained that much, but Jeremy wasn't as surprised. Evan eats alot and often! He continues to sleep well often just getting up once during the night.
Trevor continues to thrill us with his love of Evan! We prayed that Trevor would be open and accepting of his new brother, and we thank God that he has answered our prayers. Trevor always asks where Evan is when he wakes up in the morning or when we are going to bed. He also likes to give Evan kisses upon seeing him after a nap or before bedtime. Trevor also likes to tell me "Mommy, help Evan" when Evan is crying or will try to give Evan a pacifer when he is fussy.
We feel very blessed to have two beautiful boys!
