Many of you know that I love nature and being outside. This spring has been very rainy with many thunderstorms. This picture was taken Saturday, May 30th at dusk. A storm was rolling through our area, and I enjoyed standing at the kitchen patio doors watching the cloud formations and lightning. I decided to try taking a picture hoping that the pictures would turn out. This is a really neat picture showing the power and beauty of the storm. Luckily the storm went around us and we didn't get any more rain.
We have a new white/pale yellow bird in our neighborhood. I went out to get the mail the other day, and he was right up by our porch. Of couse by the time I got the camera, he had gone to the neighbor's yard. We have seen him on numerous occassions, but I haven't been able to identify what kind of bird it is. He is very pretty.
