Christmas with Anspaugh Side

On December 27, my parents, sister and her crew drove over from Ohio to spend the weekend with us.  We had so much fun!  There was still a little bit of snow left, so the cousins all went sledding in our yard.  They eventually moved to our neighbors yard where the snow was more in the shade and a little faster.

Ava went down many times with cousin Gavin and then with Daddy!

I'm not sure if Evan even sledded much...he has having more fun getting in the way and causing collisions with those who were coming down on sleds!

Collision about to happen!

On Saturday, we took the whole crew to the Pittsburgh Zoo.  It was a great day to be there.   The highlight was towards the end of the day.  We had stopped to go potty/change Ava's diaper near the Giraffe exhibit.  Because of the cold and snow, the giraffes and elephants were not out.  While the boys were waiting on us, a zoo keeper saw some of the boys peaking through a gate at the giraffes.  He took them all inside and let them see the giraffes up close!  I think he let them feed them too!

The mama rhino and baby were playing....
chasing each other around, kicking up a ton of mud and butting heads.

Sunday we went to church, and after lunch went to a local indoor trampoline place.  We jumped for an hour...even Ava jumped for that long!  She did great and everyone had a good time! (If Mom or Kirsten read this...I need pictures from the trampoline place!)

We had a fun time, and our boys always love spending time with "the cousins!"
