We had a lot of fun Trick or Treating this year. Both the boys were so much more excited about costumes, the church fall festival and the actual trick or treating. We went to a couple of our neighbors and then headed down to Beaver. There are sidewalks in town, and it is just a safer place to trick or treat. I was totally impressed by how involved the Beaver residents are with trick or treat. Even though the weather was yucky, many of them were sitting out on their porches and were excited to see the kids.

(Eleanor gives out full sized candy bars because as she says,
"the kids have to walk back our long driveway")
It was a chilly and wet night to trick or treat, but the boys love it! Evan was particularly funny as he would go running and yelling "Trick or Treat!" He got many chuckles for his enthusaism!
Jeremy and I both remember as kids the excitement of dumping out your pumpkin to see what all we got. The boys had a good time looking through their loot! Trevor's favorite item is a plastic bat ring; what a great idea - will have to remember that for next year!

Can I eat it all, pleeaassee?

ReplyDeleteTrevor and Evan!!! You were absolutely adorable in your "Twick or Tweet" costumes; we're sure you were the best costume kids in the neighborhood! We're so very blessed to have you in our lives and will never be able to thank "Daddy & Mommy" enough for bringing you into this beautiful world.
