Easter

This was a fun Easter for our family as it was the first year that we made baskets for the boys and hunted for eggs. It was really fun to watch Trevor throughout the day as he excitedly experienced new traditions.

so excited to see what was in his basket,
but not looking totally awake yet!

love Evan's expression as he intently listens to
Trevor explain how the bubble gun works

a closer inspection reveals Buzz Lightyear is on the sides!

After a wonderful church service at CFC, we headed home to hide and hunt Easter eggs. Trevor was so excited about it even though he had never hunted eggs before. He loves to play hide-n-seek and I Spy, so we explained that it is like playing those two games, but with eggs. He was hooked! We must have hid eggs outside 8 times today!

So handsome!

Evan even found an egg!

Mommy and her boys!
(I wonder what Evan is thinking?)

After dinner it was such a beautiful evening, we decided to head down to the river. As you know our favorite past time is throwing rocks, but we also took a nice stroll along the riverwalk. It was gorgeous out, and the sunset was amazing. It was the perfect end to a great day!

posing for mommy!

love Evan's expression!
